Thanks for the feedback everyone, I agree with the Textures. I noticed the same In my map and I am adjusting it piece by piece to see how it looks.

Also scarecrow, If there is water it doesnt neciserily means the normal land has to be higher so I leave that decision to Rogue.

And don't forget that you can't see the gameplay. Which was our main goal(improving it than )

More pics will follow

I should resay that, I meant textures, the textures around the water look to straight, he should add more to them so it doesn't look like a straight line.

you could always just use the same texture around the water, but use a different scale and direction, like have the texture moving with the river, giving it that 'flowing' effect.

And you still get to keep the texture! Yay!

Alright, the comment are being noted and I'll see what I can do about the textures. It may be a while before the next set of screenines come out so that I can find time to make adjustments per se...

ROFL this thread is stil a sticky, guess I should do something with it than!

The map I did with Rogue got nearly finished, it still needs a little tweak here and there but it works perfectly. It's also a quite challenging one IMO. If anyone is interested in it or want's screenshots you can comment here or PM me and I'll discuss with Rogue wheter we'll release it or not.

My current project is mapping for the Covenant at War mod(see also the Mod advertising section and www.moddb.com/mods/halo-covenant-at-war)

... Is anyone actually still reading this?

are these kind of maps possible?
